IT'S SHOWCASE TIME!
That is it! Editors, mixers, and composers are close to their final cut of the film that will be shown at the MJF showcase on May 16th at 6 p.m. the film is not "festival ready" but it is a version that producers and director are willing to show to other student filmmakers in hopes of receiving criticism and feedback on how make the film even better for festivals by making the necessary tweaks.
We have four days left before having to turn in an export for screen testings. During this time, sound mixers Chris Eiberger and composer Cadmus Blackwood will present their work to producers and director for feedback and possible adjustments.
I will personally meet with editor Mariah Zenk to work on color grading and apply the final touches to the film.
Also, big surprise, our graphic designers just came up with our (almost) official poster for the film. So here is a little VIP preview!
After the showcase, the entire crew and cast will celebrate with their wrap party (well deserved to say the less). It will then be time to review the film and notes from the showcase and make our adjustments to be able to deliver our film into festivals.
We are also planning ion releasing a trailer in the coming weeks and release the film at the Moxie Cinema so that everybody gets a chance to see Sub Rosa.
