Into Post-Production...

Having only our final (short) scene and a few b-rolls left to film, editors dived deep into post-production at the end of last month. So far, each scene has been put together to give producers and director a taste of what the end product is going to look like.
We should be looking at a close to picture lock cut by the end of next week, then will be able to send our cut to our sound mixers. ADR and foley sessions will also have to be scheduled in the next few weeks. Our score composer sent us a demo revealing musical tones for the film, which makes the production team very excited.

The plan for the (skeleton) crew this weekend is to take the left over b-rolls as well as to film our closing scene of the film. Editors, director, DP, and producers will have another meeting next week to look over a picture fine cut of the film.

My individual goal is 1) as a director of photography: to start looking at color correction and color grading for the film and 2) as a producer: to go over our production report and finalize all budget details (gas & food reimbursement), as well as coordinating our perks distribution with our marketing supervisor.
